- Minced Beef (1 LB)
- Parsley (1/2 Cup)
- Garlic (2 Cloves)
- Onions (1/4 Cup)
- Egg (1)
- Bread Crumbs (1/2 Cup)
- Evaporated Milk (1/4 Cup)
- Allspice (1 TSP)
- Ground Cumin (1/2 TSP)
- Salt (1 TSP)
- Black Pepper (1/2 TSP)
- Cherry Tomatoes
- Romain Lettuce
- Loaf of Bread
- Cubed Cheddar Cheese
- Ketchup
- Small Skewers
Directions:
- In a large and deep bowl, add one pound of minced beef.
- Chop half cup of parsley and add it to the bowl.
- Mince two cloves of garlic and add to the bowl.
- Dice a fourth of a cup of onion.
- Add one egg.
- Add half cup of breadcrumbs.
- Add a fourth cup of evaporated milk.
- Add one teaspoon of allspice.
- Add half teaspoon of cumin.
- Add salt and pepper to taste.
- Combine everything and shape into meatballs. Set them on a sheet of parchment paper or just grease a pan with olive oil or pam spraying oil.
- Your meatballs should be bite size. So nothing bigger then 2 inches in diameter.
- Once you’ve shaped all of the meatballs, bake at 350º for 20 minutes.
- While the meatballs are cooking, cut up cherry tomatoes in half.
- Depending how big your cubed cheese are, cut them in half.
- Chop romaine lettuce (any size is fine).
- Take about 4 pieces of loaf bread and spread with ketchup on one side. Then cut them into squares big enough for the meatballs.
- When the meatballs have cooked, let them cool off for about 10 minutes.
- Then assemble everything. Take small skewers and start off with Bread, meatball, cheese, lettuce and tomato. Do the same for all.
Enjoy 🙂
