Chicken Lettuce Wraps
Ingredients:
- Ground Chicken (2 LBS)
- Water (1/4 Cup)
- Vegetable Oil (1 TBSP)
- Onion (1/2 Cup)
- Garlic (3 Cloves)
- Tomatoes (1/2 Cup) (Cherry or regular)
- Shredded Carrots (1/2 Cup)
- Parsley (1/2 Cup)
- Salt (1/4 TSP)
- Black Pepper (1/4 TSP)
- All Spice (1 TSP)
- Turmeric (1/4 TSP)
- Romaine Lettuce (Any kind of bed will work)
- Mozzarella (For Garnish)
- Avocado (For Garnish)
Directions:
- In a deep skillet, on high heat, add your ground chicken and water.
- Stir until water dissolves.
- When water has dissolved, add vegetable oil.
- Turn the heat to medium and add the onions and garlic.
- Mix together and add salt and pepper.
- Turn the heat to low and add tomatoes, shredded carrots and diced parsley.
- To that, add allspice and turmeric. Mix everything and turn the heat off.
- Get romaine lettuce or any kind of deep bedded lettuce such as iceberg.
- Pour the mixture of chicken mix (About one serving spoon) depending on how much you prefer.
- Shred (garnish) mozzarella cheese over the mix.
- Cut up some avocado and place it on top.
