Roasted Drumsticks with a Sweet Marinade

 

Ingredients:

  • Drumsticks (10)
  • Olive Oil (4 Tablespoons)
  • Brown Sugar (3 Tablespoons)
  • Honey Dijon (2 Tablespoons)
  • Freshly Squeezed Orange (3 Tablespoons)
  • Freshly Squeezed Lemon Juice (3 Tablespoons)
  • Fresh thyme (1/4 Cup)
  • Tangerine (1, sliced thin)
  • Salt and Pepper (1 Teaspoon Each)

Directions:

  1. Rinse drumstick in cold water and wipe dry with a paper towel.
  2. Then place them in a deep casserole dish.
  3. Sprinkle salt and pepper on the drumsticks.
  4. In a deep medium sized bowl, add the olive oil, brown sugar, honey Dijon, orange juice and lemon juice.
  5. Mix well and pour over the chicken.
  6. Garnish the chicken with fresh thyme.
  7. Slice one tangerine into thin round shapes and place them in between the chicken.
  8. Roast 425º for 35-45 minutes.
