Roasted Drumsticks with a Sweet Marinade
Ingredients:
- Drumsticks (10)
- Olive Oil (4 Tablespoons)
- Brown Sugar (3 Tablespoons)
- Honey Dijon (2 Tablespoons)
- Freshly Squeezed Orange (3 Tablespoons)
- Freshly Squeezed Lemon Juice (3 Tablespoons)
- Fresh thyme (1/4 Cup)
- Tangerine (1, sliced thin)
- Salt and Pepper (1 Teaspoon Each)
Directions:
- Rinse drumstick in cold water and wipe dry with a paper towel.
- Then place them in a deep casserole dish.
- Sprinkle salt and pepper on the drumsticks.
- In a deep medium sized bowl, add the olive oil, brown sugar, honey Dijon, orange juice and lemon juice.
- Mix well and pour over the chicken.
- Garnish the chicken with fresh thyme.
- Slice one tangerine into thin round shapes and place them in between the chicken.
- Roast 425º for 35-45 minutes.
